The Idea. The Project.

"Everything always begins with an idea."

Yes, there is an idea, a thought, behind this blog. This project. It is to chronicle what has happened in the last few years. All the ups and downs. All the good times and the bad times. All the smooth sailings and the rough bearings.

Each person's life goes through these at some point or the other. And that's somewhere the beauty of life. If everything is going well all the time, nothing is ok. There is something amiss. A big piece of the puzzle hasn't fallen into place, either by accident or by design. And that design might not be yours necessarily.

There have been many "firsts" that I have experienced in the last 7 years, taking the point when I relocated to Delhi as the beginning of the frame of reference. Some victories, some disappointments, heartbreaks and heartaches, bouts of depression, ecstatic phases, made and broken relationships, friendships, discovering newer technologies and the benefits & downsides of them, buying new assets, setting out on unplanned trips across the nation, going off on long unending motorcycles rides... the list is endless.

All of that is stored away somewhere in this device we all come pre-installed with - The Brain. The mind, the memory. Instances pop-out when certain stimulants and catalysts are present -sight, sound, smell. The problem with this is, nothing can ever be out there together at the same time. And what if a certain stimulus is not around? Will that piece of information (read memory) stay hidden away in those locked directories of The Brain?

It's not always easy revisiting those places. But it's not always easy living without doing so either.

Hence Project Dozen. Project XII. A dozen short-stories that will bring out those bits and pieces of memories hidden away somewhere in the deep recesses of The Brain.

They might be intermittent, or over-flowing. Depending on te proximity with these stimulants.

I hope that on this ride, if you were to stick around, you'll also see things the way I saw them.

Godspeed.
